Staff and Leadership

Please find below an introduction to our church leaders and staff members.

Shuler (interim minister) and Robbin Griffin

Shuler is a native of Mississippi, having spent his childhood in Greenville, a city in the Mississippi Delta.  He graduated from the University of Mississippi, with a BBA in 1982. 
Shuler has been an active Christian since his conversion in 1988 and has spent many years involved in Evangelistic initiatives.

Apart from Evangelism, his passions are youth ministry, community missions, and making disciples for Christ. 

Shuler has worshipped at the Fountain Church, an Anglican Church Plant since it’s inception in 2007. 

In September 2014, Shuler was ordained to the Deaconate, and continues to serve the Church in a variety of Ministries, including the twice monthly 8:00am Holy Communion Service.

In his free time, he is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

Shuler is married to Robbin, they have four children.

Robbin's passion is the ‘ministry is helps’ where over the years she has participated in VBS,  women's kitchen ministry, preparing meals for funerals, and other church events, She has a compassionate heart for the sick, and sharing God's Word with children.

David and Joan Saunders (Founders of Fountain Anglican)

David was born in the United Kingdom and trained for Ministry at Trinity College where he studied under Professor Dr. J.I. Packer. He was Ordained into the Church of England in 1979 and pastored several churches in renewal over a period of 25 years.  His Passion is to “…equip the saints for the work of Ministry.” Eph 4:16. In recent years, David has traveled extensively around the world, teaching the principles of the New Testament Church both within the Church and the world.

In 2007 David received a call to plant the Fountain Anglican Church in Oxford MS.
In the Market Place, David has served as an executive consultant, working with, and advising on, company mergers and human resources.  His heart is to see Christians who work within both conventional ministry, and commerce, understand their destiny in Jesus Christ, and fulfill their hearts desire of serving Him effectively with integrity and wisdom in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Joan was born in Mississippi and studied pharmacy at the University of Mississippi.  She received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2001.  She has been involved in ministry since 1995, traveled extensively around the world, working in the mission field and providing disaster relief.  She has a passion for 'worship and prayer' and a heart for encouraging others to receive their God given gifts.  Her desire is to see the local church, community, and the body of Christ receive complete healing and wholeness and to understand that there is so much More to living the Christian life, a life full of love, hope, joy, and real relationship with God.

David and Joan have 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
